Alright, so you all calmed down? – after the amazing recent events… Sorry to be a little cynical but really: was it that exciting? I mean, yeah, it was nice to see Michael again but another party… After being a no-show on Quincy’s party and ever so many other more important or at least more understandable parties and events… Well, I know, it’s his decision but I still think it’s strange and I still cannot recognize the Michael Jackson I used to know in these actions.
I have already written the next blog I promised you about other events that went wrong, but I postponed it because of the news. Instead I took the time to create my own MySpace site, so if you feel me, add me and tell your friends: www.myspace.com/reconnectmj! Also I decided to write an explanation about the reason for and the meaning of this blog. So I’ll give you that one first before I will continue where I stopped.
My mission:
No, I’m not bored! I don’t have too much time at hand, I don’t need attention. I don’t want to bad-mouth anybody or gossip! I’m not a fanatic and I’m not a know-it-all. And especially: no, I’m not a hater (BIG “no” there). Now that we’ve cleared up what I’m not, let’s see what I am!
I am concerned! I’m concerned about Michael, his life, his wellbeing, his career. Concerned about his associates, concerned when I see his actions (or non-actions). Concerned when I think about his future, his legend, his artistry. Concerned to see more and more friends and fans leaving. And especially concerned when I compare the Michael Jackson he was a few years ago to the Michael Jackson I see now!
I want to help a friend and don’t just sit here and watch how he alienates himself from..well, basically himself!
Lets put it this way: If a good friend or a family member has been though a hard time – harder than anybody could probably ever imagine – this person will react in his own very special way. If he goes into isolation and doesn’t find back to himself or even puts himself into a position of dependence and external control, then it’s time to act! This is the moment when friends need to help! So if my friend changes, isolates himself, if he sits in his room and the outside world becomes strange and incalculable, I will not watch and accept when he says “Leave me alone!” No, I will take his hand, take him out of his bell jar back into the world, show him old things anew and give him a new perspective. He may hate me for being a pain in the ass in the beginning, he may want to run away, he may tell me everything’s fine, but I will stay anyway, because I care for him! Sometimes it needs a kick in the ass to show a person that you truly love him! If I didn’t care for Michael, I would let him sit in the corner of his room. But I won’t because I want him to find back to his corner of the sky!
Yes, he has a right to change! Yes, he always took his time for a new album. Yes, he might be less child-like, yes, he does get older. Yes, he can have fun on parties if that’s what he wants. Yes, he can dress and look like he wants to. Yes, he can do whatever he wants to with Neverland, his money, his music, his life! But he must not lose himself!!!
Why I rehash old stories? To make you see that there’s something wrong! So open your eyes and don’t try to always find excuses for whatever is happening! Why I put my fears and feelings in words? To remind you that we have to be there for Michael. So stand up and don’t turn away from Michael because you feel like you don’t know him anymore! I know it may sound silly, but somehow I feel we are responsible to do something! I feel like Michael needs help. It may be some stupid help syndrome or whatever, I don’t know, but having helped Michael through so many terrible situations I guess it stuck. All I know is: A lot of people can change a lot together – look at what we did with Sony! So through this blog I’m looking for people who feel like I do and who still stand up for Michael and want to help him. I know that together we can change the current situation and lead Michael back on the right way and give him the assurance that we are there for him. And I’m sure that we can do this together! This is only the start! So join me! Write comments, add me on MySpace, tell your friends, email me, give me your ideas on how to improve the situation!
Michael remained true to himself for 48 years! He did it his way and we all always admired him for his courage and power to do whatever he believed in, no matter how hard it was! He reinvented himself without losing his basic characteristics. His way to move, to stage-manage, to express himself, to communicate and interact, to stand up for and pass on his believes to thousands of people has always been unique and fascinating. But all of that seems to be under a big dust now. I don’t care about a new album, I don’t care about sold-out concert tours. I accept changes, I accept mistakes! I don’t demand the character “King of Pop”, but I don’t accept the loss of Michael Jackson!
Whoever thinks we will not lose the Michael we all know and love and that all will be fine as soon as a new album is out, didn’t understand a very important thing: my mission is the human being, not the artist production! Therefore I don’t want to just sit back and wait for a wonder from Mr. Incredible – actually I don’t see Mr. Incredible at all, I see someone who’s alone with a broken heart! And I want to take as many people as possible with me on my mission – because it should be OUR mission!

What exactly is it that you want fans to do? You’ve made your point: you think there’s something wrong. I commend you for taking the time and energy to put your point of view out there (especially when there are some sensitive people ‘ignoring’ the issue you seem to find so important), but I can’t help except feel that you’ve been repeating yourself. ‘There’s something wrong! We have to save him!’ He’s been through a lot… pretty obvious… your heart is obviously noble and desires to help, but action wise, what are you going to do? Send notes, sign petitions, all that say ‘MJ GET OUT HERE AGAIN!’ Make support parties? You said you’re focusing on the individual, not so much the marketing, musical creation, but have you ever thought that perhaps this is a time when he needs to focus on his kids, on who he is, and maybe it isn’t the time to pay more attention to fans, to what fans want?
Really. I enjoy his music. I would like another album, possibly to see him out again, respected and all, but I don’t think my MISSION is to help out someone who really needs the help of people physically closest to him in comparison to the help of a mass of people that tend to be miles away from him… actually, perhaps my mission is more to help people out in Darfur, perhaps push my government to do more to actually end world hunger, etc…
I wish you luck in your endeavor. But until you actually say what you want to do, what you plan to do instead of your complaint, I don’t think I can support this at all. And I hope you don’t find this comment disrespectful at all. It is only my honest opinion, and it was not meant to be hurtful nor rude in any way. If it was, then I apologize.
Uh……okay. So if you say you don’t care about another new album or sold-out concert tours, what the hell do you want or except from MJ? I’m confused :S And what’s with all this BS that ” Michael has isolated himelf, he’s with a broken heart, we have to save him blablabla??? Spare us the melodramatics please! The way you talk about you wanting to take him out of his “dark room” and lead him back to the “outside world”, makes him look like some hopeless drug addict who has no personal contact with anyone. I swear, some fans are worse than the tabloids sometimes, always looking for an opportunity to start bulls*it and spread it around as fact. Unless you have the met the man in person and had a private conversation with him, you have no basis to assume he’s depressed or he’s in desperate need of help from us fans.
Secondly I’m baffled when you say things like: it is OUR misson to help MJ and that you created this blog in order for fans to get together and help him recognise his true self etctera. My question is: What gives you the idea that Michael and/or his team are just gonna happen to pass by and see your blog??? I’m sorry to say but I think you’re completely delusional if you think you starting a blog full of whines, cry-baby tantrums and bitch-fests from a desperate, obsessed bitter fanatic is gonna change regarding Michael’s future or any career plans that he might have, because it won’t. As for this thing about no communication exisitng the fans and MJ….who knows. Maybe MJ isn’t the mood to talk to the fans right now…..and you know what, I don’t blame him one bit especially when some of his “fans” only see him as some sort of musical fix but show him no respect as a person.
Another thing: Why do you keep saying things like “the old Michael” or the “Michael I used i know” etc? What’s up with that? Well I’ve got news for you honey: People CHANGE. And so has Michael. And with that I’m sure that his vision, career plans and priorites have changed too due to what he’s been through all his life. Why can’t you respect that? Why can’t the man do anything or NOT do anything without some fans dissecting his every move and throwing speculation and conspiracy theories whenever they get the chance?
My take is this: If you really loved or cared about Michael as much as you claim to do, you wouldn’t have started this blog in the first place. It’s clearly obvious that you have no idea what you’re talking about and I think your calling all the fans to “rescue MJ from his gloomy hell-hole” is just plain laughable. To put it bluntly: I just think you’re wasting your time . Here’s my advice: Get a life. Take a step away from the computer. Go out and have a walk in the park. Start some new course. Go get drunk in a party somewhere and get laid. Start a family etc. Just do something; as long as you leave MJ in peace and stop trying to look for ways to bother him or harass him.
P.S: I know you’ll probably ignore everything I’ve just said or do a rebuttal defending your opinion while insulting mine in the process, but whatever. I’m done with this.
