I will not sit here and see Michael’s legend and his message die!

During the weekend I had a little time at hand and decided to surf some MJ sites and post my first blog on some messageboards for the users to discuss. Lemme get this straight: I posted the whole blog and asked the users to discuss, so don’t say they deleted it because it was only self-promotion! Still on some boards (I won’t say no names!) it only took seconds for my posting to be deleted and my username banned. They couldn’t even have read the whole thing in that time!
Honestly, I was shocked! I have experienced users being bashed for being negative, being warned that they will get banned and only then getting banned – but I didn’t expect that we’re already at this level of censorship!

Still, I’m happy that other boards like MJEOL or Maximum-Jackson have allowed the discussion. This shows that there is yet hope! If people have a different opinion and don’t agree with what I have to say, that’s fine! You may have points I haven’t thought of so don’t hesitate to tell me. But don’t be rude, don’t ban me just like that, don’t make me feel like I’m enemy no. 1 and don’t tell me I’m a hater because I’m not, I have been a fan for many many years now and I do think, if you read my postings attentively, you will realize that!

To be honest, I was a bit down… but when I read your comments, I feel that I cannot be as wrong as they want me to be! Also, I found this on steady-laughing:

“Michael is nowhere to be found or even heard from. The silence from his camp is very frustrating to me. I don’t mind if he doesn’t release an album, or if he’s taking his time in producing one. What I do mind is the silence. After “late 2007” came and went, why couldn’t an update be released telling fans what’s going on? Sometimes it seems as if we’re being strung along here. So let’s see here. Katrina single…it never happened. Which is totally fine, but why couldn’t an explanation be given? A new official website, did that happen? Wasn’t that art contest that they had in Japan supposed to be related to that? I’m not the type of fan that is fussed about an album release. I’ll be extremely elated to see another one, but in the meantime, there are other artists that I love just as much that are doing great things. I’m only fussed on the lack of communication, but it seems like MJ has been quite notorious for that! Did I miss anything?

What am I getting at? Jess and I will continue to keep this site up for now, it would be so hard to close after so much hard work. I will say this though, if by the end of the year we are still where we are now, I think we may seriously consider just calling it a day. When the most exciting news to update with is news of another reason why Michael is being sued, it’s hard to keep this place alive!”

I don’t think I have to comment much on this one! Only thing I’ll say is that here we have another huge MJ site considering to shut down like many have before within the last few months…. I won’t allege that they all did due to the current situation, but it is striking how many communities have been shut down lately! We see something like this ever so often right now:

Lemme tell you this: I don’t care about people trying to shut all the problems out. It’s coward behavior! It should be allowed for everyone to voice their fears and opinions, THEN those can be discussed and maybe proven wrong. I don’t say I know it all! But I feel that something is going wrong! And I know there are more people who feel like me, more than those who already commented (btw: thx guys and keep them coming, you got some very good point I will get back to later!). I will not sit here and see Michael’s legend and his message die!
